Associate

McKenzie List is a civil litigator who primarily practices in commercial litigation, tort defense, and products liability. McKenzie regularly advises clients on risk management and handles every stage of the litigation process. McKenzie also has experience providing compliance advice for physician and nurse licenses in adversarial proceedings including medical malpractice and licensing board matters. McKenzie prides herself on building relationships with her clients to provide both expert legal guidance and a personalized experience throughout the legal process.

McKenzie was born in Tucson, Arizona and raised in Tampa, Florida. She graduated summa cum laude from Rollins College with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry where she completed her thesis on CAR T Cells As A Patentable Therapeutic. McKenzie returned to Arizona for law school where she earned her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, cum laude, graduating with certificates in Health Law & Policy, and Law, Science and Technology with a focus in Intellectual Property. Throughout law school, McKenzie engaged in a variety of extracurricular legal experiences. McKenzie served as a Note & Comment Editor and an active member of the Write-On Committee for the law journal, Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology, a teaching assistant for Legal Advocacy, a student mentor for the Advance Scholar Program, and a member of the Health Law Society and the Intellectual Property Student Association.

In her free time, McKenzie enjoys reading mystery novels, participating in exercises classes, playing pickleball, and cooking for her friends and family.
